Whether performing their take on pop, jazz, or classical tunes, they bring enthusiasm to their interpretations and impart their love of music to audiences of all musical preferences.

The ensemble moves beyond the stereotype of classical music tradition with programs that include both the masterpieces of string orchestra repertoire and exceptional works drawn from all genres to create a new definition of modern performance. Innovative arrangements written by Sphere Ensemble musicians generate a unique and transformative musical experience.

The BOULDER BASSOON QUARTET returns to Westcliffe after performing at the Jones Theater and the Custer County Schools in 2015. Since 2006 the Quartet has impressed a wide audience through substantive, engaging performances. The Quartet is dedicated to expanding the repertoire for the bassoon quartet in a variety of genres through new arrangements and original compositions.

The COLORADO SPRINGS SAXOPHONE QUARTET, comprised of four professional woodwind players from the Colorado Springs area, was formed in 1995. Each of the musicians brings a wealth of experience to the Quartet and every performance positively thrills, swinging you from one musical style to another.
